At Lower Grange Farm we love a badge – it’s not just a piece of fabric on your uniform or blanket, but charts your achievements and memories taking part in the Scout or Girlguiding programme.
Many of the activities at Lower Grange Farm can be used to help complete badge requirements. We also offer specific badge focused sessions designed to support you and help your young people achieve a new badge.

Looking to gain your Scout climbing badges? The Kent Scouts Climbing Team run courses throughout the year.

Can I bring my Group for a badge session
Yes, we offer badge courses as an evening or weekend activity for a complete Group.
The Climbing team run regular climbing badge courses which individuals can sign up for, but you can also contact them to put on a course specifically for your Group.
Do you have Lower Grange Farm badges?
Yes, our on site shop has badges available for sale. The office can arrange badge orders, or request that the shop is open during your visit.
We're trying to complete a particular challenge badge - can this be integrated into our activity?
Yes, please contact us in advance so that we can put together a plan with the instructor to help achieve the badge requirements.
How long do your badge courses take?
Most of the Beaver and Cub badge courses take 2 hours.
Scout badge courses normally take between 4 and 8 hours.
